On a wintery November day in the East-End of London, Wales and Germany came together for a match made in heaven.
After tying the knot at the Hackney Town Hall, a cockney cabbie chauffeured the happy newlyweds over to Bethnal Green where a wedding breakfast fit for a king and queen was served. It was a day of Art Deco elegance, with much thought put into all the details to match this era.
This lovely couple started out life together as housemates, Leah soon bowled Rhodri over with her skills at his first ever Roller Derby and their first proper date promptly followed. Leah retired from the Derby scene several months before this big day so any bruises from the full contact sport had faded, but with Leah's Roller Girls & Rhodri's cricket team in full attendance, the camaraderie certainly did not.
The evening took off with an amazing first dance, into a night of joyous team spirits and a whole lot of love.
